More international success for the Trialtech team!

[ Posted: 28/06/2013 ]

The Trialtech team is on a bit of a roll at the moment, with top ten finishes in pretty much every event so far this season and plenty of titles being added to the collection.

Dominik Oswald is making a name for himself, finishing highly in the first two rounds of the UCI World Cup, even making it into the Super Final in his first ever World Cup! Having already won the 20" Junior German Championships, a week after the second round of the World Cup, Dominik competed in the 26" Junior German Championships where he also finished in first place, making him double German Champion! He was finished there though; he also finished in first place in Junior 20" in the UEC European Championships in Bern last weekend! That's Germany and Europe in the bag - can he complete the set with a win in the UCI World Championships in South Africa in August?

Speaking of the European Championships, Rick Koekoek and Vašek Kolár were competing in Elite 20" and both made it into the Super Final. Rick finished in third place - his first international podium since taking on Cesar Canas as his trainer. Hopefully the start of great things to come from the partnership! Vasha was not far behind Rick in fourth place.

Vasha has been busy at home as well, winning titles and setting left right and centre! Over the last few weeks he has won the Czech BikeTrial Championship, set the Czech record for the most 180 gaps in a minute, won the UCI Czech Championship and the European Biketrial Championship! There seems to be no stopping him as he gains experience in international competition - we're expecting big things from him over the rest of the season!
